- With the enactment of the National Solid Waste Management Act otherwise known as RA 9003, there is a need to adopt a more professional and "World Class" approach to the disposal of waste. While IPM will continue to increase its waste collection contracts there is now an awareness of the needs and demands of the disposal aspect and to ensure that there is adequate and proper care of the environment. IPM is at the forefront of projects in Engineered Sanitary Landfill Design, Construction and Operation. It has been involved in the development of the first such facility in the Philippines.
